Amtl. Mitteilung Land Tirol: Quarantäne für alle 279 Tiroler Gemeinden in englischer Sprache
Official anouncment from Tyrol country: Quarantine for all 279 Tyrolean communities
Statement of governor Günther Platter:
The governor has ordered quarantine for all 279 Tyrolean communities taking effect from midnight until 5th April. This means that Tyrol will self isolate. Members of the community may only leave their communities for the
purposes of primary care coverage, as part of public services or to go to work – and then only to the next community. Provided there is a doctor, pharmacy, grocery store or bank in the community, members should not leave the community for these purposes. For example it is not permitted to travel to another area if there is a grocery store available in the community.
A further measure is that Tyrol has closed it’s borders to it’s neighbours. This self isolation constitutes a far reaching step. This means that the only persons who may travel to Tyrol are those who are residents in Tyrol or who work within the critical infrastructure or in supply. The transport of goods is permitted under special regulations.
Due to the ongoing developments, Wörgl council recommends that people regularly check the council’s webpage at www.woergl.at.
